Empowering Media Professionals at the Black Girls In Media Conference

The Black Girls In Media Conference is taking place tomorrow, Aug. 24 at the Lavan Midtown, hosted by Tasha McCaskiel and Ohavia Phillips. As the largest conference of its kind, it will be a day full of enriching experiences dedicated to empowering minority women professionals in the media industry. BGIMCon will consist of interactive panels, various networking opportunities, on-site recruitment and much more. Several speakers from a wide range of career backgrounds in media will be in attendance, including Olivia Hancock, Tenille Clarke, Les Alfred, Shay Regis, Amanda Haynes, Nyla Simone and Sidnee Michelle. It seeks to be a great opportunity for individuals to connect with industry leaders and explore different career paths in a dynamic and supportive environment.
