Telfar Opens First Flagship Store in SoHo

Telfar celebrated 20 years of innovation, inclusivity and cultural impact with the grand opening of its first flagship store in SoHo, New York City on Nov. 23, 2024. Known for its motto, “Not for you—for everyone,” the brand unveiled a space that blends fashion, culture and community, creating designs and experiences that resonate with various socio-economic communities.

The store includes the Telfar TV Studio, an interactive feature where visitors can broadcast live content while shopping. Guests explored the full range of Telfar products, from its signature bags to apparel, as well as accessories, and jewelry.

The event also featured appearances from celebrity guests, including Lil’ Kim, Teezo Touchdown, Ts Madison, Rah Digga and mascot of the New York Liberty Ellie the Elephant. Adding to the excitement, an open mic contest gave attendees the chance to win a Telfar bag.

Designed with "old-school New York energy," the flagship serves as both a retail space and a cultural hub, offering a place to shop, connect and create.
