SOUNDWAVE: Evenson’s Debut EP, “SADLY, I STILL LOVE YOU”

On January 26th, Evenson Andre, known as “Evenson,” released his debut EP titled 'SADLY, I STILL LOVE YOU.' This 5-song EP not only showcases the artist's dynamic soundscape but also breathes new life into the industry.

Evenson brings forth a unique sound that encapsulates the best parts of alternative pop, rock n roll, and catchy lyrics. As Evenson takes a vulnerable approach to songwriting, he discusses battling the feeling of isolation, loneliness and heartbreak. All while making his listeners feel like they could conquer the world. Through his layered melodies and thoughtful production, Evenson pairs heartfelt lyricism with upbeat tempos, creating a fresh sound that resonates with listeners. In the “Waiting on Sunshine” music video, Evenson showcases yet another one of his talents. As he perfectly executes a simple yet modern choreography, the rhythmic movements express “how it feels when love is real.” Set against the backdrop of a spacious apartment bathed in a stream of sunlight from floor-to-ceiling windows, Evenson and his duet partner eloquently narrate the song’s story through their mesmerizing movements.

This past January, Evenson completed his first live performance at the Sultan Room in NYC. Don’t worry if you missed it because something tells us this is the first of many.
